Detroit Lions running back D’Andre Swift to appear at local draft party

During the first night of the 2022 NFL Draft, Lions running back D’Andre Swift will be appearing at a Detroit-area draft party.

In the 2020 NFL Draft, D’Andre Swift fell to the second round (35th overall) before the Detroit Lions snapped him up. He has shown plenty of promise over his first two seasons, with real potential to become a full-fledged star in his third season.

Swift will be making an appearance at a Detroit-area draft party for the first night of the draft on Thursday night. Via the press release from Blake Heckel of Champion Management, here are the details.

What:    Bar Louie is hosting an NFL Draft watch party with a special appearance by Detroit Lions running back D’Andre Swift.
When:   Thursday, April 28 from 7-9 p.m
Where:  17460 Hall Road at The Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township.

On Thursday, April 28, from 7-9 p.m., Detroit Lions running back D’Andre Swift will join “The Original Gastrobar” at its Clinton Township location at 17460 Hall Road at The Mall at Partridge Creek.

Swift will be signing autographs on stock photos and hanging out with fans as the Lions’ front office looks to fortify its roster with two first-round picks.

“I’m excited to spend some time with fans with my favorite Bar Louie Lemon Drop in-hand,” Swift said. “I’ve missed Lions Nation during the offseason, and Thursday will be a fun night for the organization and everyone joining us at Bar Louie. I look forward to celebrating our newest teammates before we head off to training camp and get back to work.”

In addition to the draft, fans can enjoy live music and drink specials before and after Swift’s visit. All five of Bar Louie’s Detroit-area locations will feature a variety of happy hour specials.
