Watch the moment Lions fans at Ford Field realized Justin Tucker’s 66-yard FG went in

Fansided

Detroit Lions fans thought that their team would upset the Baltimore Ravens, but then Justin Tucker happened.

Fans at Ford Field were left stunned after Baltimore Ravens K Justin Tucker hit a 66-yard field goal as time expired to oust the Detroit Lions, 19-17. The Lions were so close to a victory that would’ve boosted their morale, but Tucker isn’t human. By no means is it normal to hit a field goal from midfield.

The key here is to never celebrate until the game is officially over. I’m looking at you, Detroit fans. Tucker will haunt the dreams of Lions fans for years to come.

Detroit Lions fans left stunned after Justin Tucker’s 66-yard game-winning FG

It’d be hard not to film a 66-yard FG attempt with the game on the line as a fan of Detroit. What was expected to turn into a post-game celebration for the Lions and their fans quickly faded into shock and heartbreak.

Shame on you, cross bar.

Could you blame fans for expecting Tucker to miss a field goal like that? The name Justin is probably going to be banned within Detroit’s city limits. That’s how bad it was.

Justin Tucker field goal: Lions radio call

Lions radio couldn’t believe it, either. It’ll go down as one of the greatest wonders in NFL field goal history.

Imagine experiencing pure euphoria to only have it turn into disbelief. The journey out of Ford Field must’ve been brutal.

Detroit fans, go to bed tonight knowing that you’ll at least never experience as much pain as you did today over the course of the rest of the season. On second thought, don’t hold me to that.
