Tyrell Williams left Tuesday’s practice with a hand injury, but the Detroit Lions’ No. 1 receiver avoided serious damage.
Lions coach Dan Campbell said Wednesday that Williams dislocated the pinky finger on his left hand and will return to practice today.
“He’s good,” Campbell said. “He dislocated it, (popped it) right back in, he’s good to go. He’ll be out there today.”
Williams has been the Lions’ best receiver a week into training camp and projects to be one of Jared Goff’s favorite targets this year. He missed all of last season with a torn shoulder labrum.

The Lions have remained relatively healthy through training camp.
Rookie linebacker Derrick Barnes has been limited all summer by a hamstring injury, defensive linemen Michael Brockers and Levi Onwuzerike sat out practice Tuesday with undisclosed injuries and cornerback Quinton Dunbar is out for personal reasons.
Williams left midway through practice Tuesday and returned to the field with his left pinky and ring fingers taped together. He sat out the remainder of practice, with Kalif Raymond taking the bulk of first-team reps in his absence.
