The Detroit Lions are scheduled to introduce new head coach Dan Campbell at 11 a.m. Thursday morning. You will be able to watch the livestream in the video at the top of this page.
Campbell comes to the Lions, who have finished last in the NFC North for three straight seasons, after five seasons as the New Orleans Saints’ assistant head coach and tight ends coach. He went 5-7 as the Miami Dolphins interim coach in 2015.
He played three seasons with the Lions (2006-08) at tight end, playing in 19 games, and becomes the third former Lions player in the Super Bowl era to become the franchise’s head coach.
